10-Minute Chili Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 oz thick wheat noodles.
02 - 3 tbsp neutral oil.
03 - 3 cloves garlic, chopped finely.
04 - 1 tbsp Sichuan chili flakes.
05 - 1 green onion, chopped (use the white separately).
06 - 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce.
07 - 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce.
08 - 1/2 tsp black vinegar or rice vinegar.
09 - 1/4 tsp sugar.
10 - 1/4 tsp salt or bouillon powder (chicken flavor).
11 - Cilantro, for topping (if desired).
12 - Extra chopped green onion, for topping (optional).
13 - Toasted sesame seeds (optional, for garnish).

# Instructions:

01 - Boil noodles as instructed on the package. For chilled noodles, cool them with a cold rinse after they're cooked.
02 - Put garlic, chili flakes, white onion bits, both soy sauces, vinegar, salt, and sugar on top of the noodles.
03 - Warm oil in a pan until it's sizzling and very hot.
04 - Drizzle the hot oil over the mix, stir everything around until every noodle is coated. Sprinkle on the garnishes and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Works as either a hot or cold dish.
02 - Adding veggies or proteins makes it more filling.
03 - Sugar tones down the spice if it's overwhelming.
