Berry Wojapi Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sweetener

01 - 2 tablespoons of honey

→ Berries

02 - 1 cup fresh cranberries (or frozen)
03 - 1 1/2 cups frozen sour cherries
04 - 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the fresh or frozen berries into a slow cooker (crock pot).
02 - Use an immersion blender to blend half the mixture. The other half stays chunky to give it some texture.
03 - Let it cook for 3-4 hours on the low setting, making sure to stir it every hour.
04 - Mix in 2 tablespoons of honey or your preferred sweetener. Stir gently so it blends in well.
05 - Pop it in the fridge, where it'll stay good for up to two weeks.

# Notes:

01 - Wojapi is an Indigenous berry sauce that highlights the natural fruit flavors, not the sweetness.
02 - Try playing around with different berries, whether they're fresh or frozen.
03 - You can keep it refrigerated for as long as two weeks.
