Peel, wash, and dry the potatoes. Slice into fries about 3/4-inch wide and 3 inches long.

Steam the fries over low boiling water for 10-12 minutes. They should be tender when pierced with a knife but still firm. Coat gently with the oil.

Spread out fries in a single layer on a baking tray. Roast in the oven at 450°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping the pan halfway through.

Warm up the butter until melted, stir in flour and milk until smooth. Mix in the cheese until fully melted and creamy.

Sprinkle the fries with Cajun seasoning and pour cheese sauce and ranch over the top. Offer extra sauces on the side for dipping.
