Chewy Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Chopped semi-sweet chocolate bars (8 oz/226g).
02 - Unsalted butter (1/2 cup/113g).
03 - White sugar (3/4 cup/150g).
04 - Brown sugar, either light or dark (1/4 cup/50g).
05 - Three large eggs.
06 - Vanilla extract, pure (1 teaspoon).
07 - Flour, all-purpose (2/3 cup/84g).
08 - Cocoa powder, unsweetened (2 tablespoons/10g).
09 - Pinch of salt (1/4 teaspoon).
10 - Semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 cup/180g).
11 - Softened butter for frosting (1/2 cup/113g).
12 - Powdered sugar (1 1/2 cups/180g).
13 - Extra cocoa powder for frosting (1/3 cup/27g).
14 - Warm milk or heavy cream (3 tablespoons).
15 - A drop of vanilla for frosting (1/2 teaspoon).
16 - A tiny pinch of salt for frosting.

# Instructions:

01 - Gently melt butter and chopped chocolate in the microwave or on the stove at low heat. Let it cool for about 5 minutes.
02 - Mix the sugars into the chocolate mixture. Stir in the eggs and vanilla, then combine with the flour, cocoa, and salt. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
03 - Line a 9-inch square pan and pour the batter in. Bake at 350°F for 32-35 minutes. Check with a toothpick—it should have moist crumbs sticking to it.
04 - Put the pan on a wire rack and let the brownies cool off for 1-2 hours.
05 - Whip the butter until it’s fluffy. Blend in the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, warm cream, vanilla, and a tiny bit of salt until smooth and creamy.
06 - Spread the frosting over the brownies once they’re cool. Slice them into squares when ready.

# Notes:

01 - Use high-quality chocolate bars instead of chocolate chips when melting.
02 - Underbaking slightly gives a better texture.
03 - Store frozen for up to 3 months.
