Creamy Marry Me Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Flavor Mix

01 - 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
02 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
07 - 2 Tablespoons olive oil

→ Creamy Sauce

08 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream
09 - 1 cup and a half of chicken broth
10 - 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
11 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
12 - 4 minced garlic cloves
13 - 1/2 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
14 - 10 chopped fresh basil leaves
15 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
16 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
17 - 1/3 cup of sun-dried tomatoes, drained and diced
18 - 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning blend with Italian herbs
19 - 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mix liberally on both sides of the chicken breasts.
02 - Get a skillet nice and hot over medium heat with some oil and butter. Cook the chicken on both sides just until each side is golden brown, but it doesn't need to cook all the way. Save the juices in the pan.
03 - In a bowl, whisk together the chicken broth and cornstarch till smooth. Pour that into your slow cooker with the cream, minced garlic, and all seasonings.
04 - Add the browned chicken to the slow cooker. Pour in the saved juices from the pan along with the sun-dried tomatoes. Put it on low and cook for 6 to 7 hours.
05 - Take out the chicken, whisk parmesan into the sauce to melt it. Put the chicken back, coat it in the creamy sauce, and sprinkle with fresh basil to serve.

# Notes:

01 - Stick to the low-cook setting for the best flavor.
02 - Browning the chicken first amps up the taste.
03 - Pairs perfectly with pasta or a loaf of crusty bread.
