Crab and Shrimp Bisque (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Seafood

01 - 8 ounces cooked shrimp, chopped into pieces
02 - 8 ounces of crab meat

→ Base

03 - ⅓ cup diced celery
04 - 3 tablespoons of flour
05 - 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
06 - 2 cups of milk
07 - 4 tablespoons of butter
08 - ⅓ cup finely chopped green onions
09 - 1 ½ cups of heavy cream

→ Seasonings

10 - Fresh parsley for decoration
11 - Salt and pepper to your liking
12 - 1 teaspoon of Old Bay spice blend

# Instructions:

01 - Scoop butter into a pan on medium heat and let it melt. Toss in the green onions and celery, then cook till they soften up a bit.
02 - Sprinkle the flour in and stir for about a minute. Heat the milk separately during this process.
03 - Pour the warmed milk into your pan while whisking to make it smooth. Stir in the salt, pepper, Old Bay, heavy cream, and tomato paste until it all comes together.
04 - Turn the heat down and let it cook gently until the soup starts getting thicker.
05 - Stir in the shrimp and crab meat and let them warm up. Finish by sprinkling the fresh parsley on top before serving.
