Date Snickers Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Dark chocolate (dairy-free)
02 - Raw or dry-roasted peanuts (or preferred nuts)
03 - Nut butter (peanut or any alternative)
04 - Pitted dates (organic)
05 - Flaky sea salt, like Maldon

# Instructions:

01 - For dates that aren't already pitted, take out the pits. Slice each one partway down to create a small pocket.
02 - Put parchment paper onto a baking sheet that fits in your freezer, or use a freezer-safe plate. Lay the dates open-side up on the parchment.
03 - Spoon some nut butter into each of the dates, filling them about three-quarters full. Pop a few nuts inside, then gently close them up. Freeze for 15-20 minutes.
04 - Start melting your chocolate while the dates chill and let it cool slightly once it's liquid and smooth.
05 - Take the chilled dates out of the freezer and cover them in melted chocolate. Use two spoons to coat them fully or drizzle if you'd like a lighter coating.
06 - Sprinkle some flaky salt on top, then freeze again for 20-30 minutes until the chocolate firms up.

# Notes:

01 - Store in a container with a tight lid
02 - Tastes best cold, straight from the freezer
