Cinnamon Swirl Donut Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1/4 cup softened unsalted butter
02 - 1/4 cup canola oil
03 - 3/4 cup white sugar
04 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 1/2 cups plain flour
07 - 1/2 cup buttermilk
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1 teaspoon baking powder

→ Swirl

10 - 1/2 teaspoon molasses
11 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
12 - 2 tablespoons light brown sugar

→ Coating

13 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
14 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
15 - 1/4 cup white sugar
16 - 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up. Coat a 9x5-inch pan with grease and dusting. Toss flour, salt, and baking powder together in a bowl.
02 - In a mixing bowl, blend sugar, butter, and oil until it becomes airy (roughly 3 minutes). Add eggs one after another, mixing in between, then stir in vanilla. Gently mix dry ingredients and buttermilk bit by bit, starting and stopping with the dry stuff.
03 - Scoop out 3/4 cup of your batter into another bowl. Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and molasses over it and stir until combined.
04 - Pour half your regular batter into the pan. Drop spoonfuls of half the swirl batter on top and gently mix to create a pattern. Do this again with the rest of each batter.
05 - Place the pan in the oven for about 45 to 50 minutes. Once a toothpick mostly comes out clean, take it out and cool it inside the pan for 10 minutes.
06 - Melt butter in a shallow dish. In another, mix brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon. Dip the cooled loaf into butter, then roll it in the sugar mix. Wait until it's fully cooled before cutting into slices.
