Easter Chocolate Nests (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 100g unsalted butter
02 - 100g golden syrup
03 - 200g dark chocolate, chopped into tiny pieces
04 - 6-8 whole Shredded Wheat
05 - 200g milk chocolate, broken into bits

→ Topping

06 - 100-200g of assorted Easter candies

# Instructions:

01 - Break up the Shredded Wheat into chunks in a big mixing bowl, then leave it alone for now.
02 - Warm the syrup and butter together in a pan on low heat until the butter melts. Take it off the heat, then stir in the chopped chocolates until smooth.
03 - Dump the melted chocolate mix over the broken Shredded Wheat and stir it all together until it sticks.
04 - Spoon or scoop portions onto a lined tray to shape them into nest-like clusters. Press three candy pieces into each nest.
05 - Chill them in the fridge until they’re firm and ready to handle.

# Notes:

01 - You can replace all chocolates with only dark (350g) or milk (500g).
02 - Other cereals work fine too, like 80-100g of Cornflakes.
03 - Store them for at least a week.
04 - White chocolate doesn’t mix well with butter and syrup here.
