French Dip Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 12 soft Hawaiian rolls (1 package)
02 - 1 pound of rare deli-sliced roast beef
03 - 12 provolone cheese slices
04 - 2 tbsp softened butter (unsalted)

→ Butter Topping

05 - 1 stick (8 tbsp) of butter, melted
06 - 1 pack of au jus mix, split
07 - 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 tbsp sesame seeds
09 - ¾ tsp dried garlic crumbs
10 - ½ tsp powdered onion

→ Optional

11 - 1½ cups of crispy fried onions

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Coat the bottom of a 9x13 pan lightly with butter and line it with parchment.
02 - Cut the rolls across the middle horizontally, leaving them connected. Add the base part to the pan.
03 - First, add half the cheese slices. Follow that with roast beef, the fried onions if you’re using them, the rest of the cheese, and finally, the top half of the rolls.
04 - Combine melted butter with 1 spoonful of au jus powder and the other topping ingredients. Spread it all over the top and edges of the rolls.
05 - Pop it in the oven, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is gooey and the tops are browned.
06 - Heat up the leftover packet of au jus mix with water as the package says until it thickens slightly.

# Notes:

01 - Ask your deli for rare roast beef to keep it nice and tender.
02 - Don’t separate the rolls when you’re slicing them across.
03 - Hold onto any leftover butter topping for later if needed.
