Panda Express Chow Mein (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
02 - ¼ cup soy sauce
03 - 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
04 - 2 minced garlic cloves
05 - A sprinkle of black pepper, or more if you like

→ Noodles and Vegetables

06 - 2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil
07 - 3 (5.6 ounce) packs of Yakisoba noodles or Egg Noodles
08 - 1 medium onion, sliced thin
09 - 1 small head of cabbage, chopped up
10 - ⅔ cup celery, cut at an angle

# Instructions:

01 - Mix together soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, and pepper in a little bowl. Keep it nearby for later.
02 - Rinse the noodles under water and drain well. Toss out any seasoning packets that came with them.
03 - Warm some oil in a wok on medium heat. Stir the onion and celery for a minute or two until the onion softens. Toss in the cabbage and cook for another minute.
04 - Throw in the noodles and that sauce mix with your veggies. Stir it all together on medium-high heat for a few minutes, just until the noodles are warmed up.

# Notes:

01 - If you want a richer flavor, toss in a few drops of sesame oil.
02 - Be gentle with the noodles—don’t overcook them or they’ll break.
