Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 lb of dough—homemade or from the store

→ Topping

02 - 1 3/4 cups grated mozzarella
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder or two garlic cloves, minced
04 - 2 tablespoons (28g) melted unsalted butter
05 - 1 teaspoon dried basil or any Italian herb mix

→ Optional

06 - Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping
07 - Cornmeal to coat the pan

# Instructions:

01 - Gently press the air out of the dough if it's fresh. Split it in two. If you're not using both, freeze the second piece.
02 - Set your oven to 425°F. On parchment paper or a floured counter, roll the dough into a 9x13-inch rectangle. Stir the melted butter, garlic, and seasoning together, then spread the mix across the dough. Sprinkle on the cheese.
03 - Pop it in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, until the edges turn golden. For an extra toasty top, broil it for the last minute.
04 - Cut it into breadsticks and enjoy with marinara on the side—or just as is.

# Notes:

01 - Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 7 days.
02 - Freeze baked breadsticks for up to three months.
03 - Feel free to use any shredded cheese you like.
