Sesame Garlic Ramen (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - Two 3-ounce packs of quick ramen noodles, toss out the flavor packets
02 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
03 - 1 tablespoon butter
04 - 3½ tablespoons minced garlic

→ Sauce

05 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar
06 - 3½ tablespoons soy sauce
07 - Two tablespoons of the water used for cooking ramen
08 - 3 teaspoons chili oil with ginger and shallots

→ Garnish

09 - 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
10 - 3 tablespoons finely sliced green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the package to cook ramen. A minute before it's done, scoop out 2 tablespoons of the water, then drain the noodles.
02 - Melt butter with sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for two minutes, making sure it doesn’t brown.
03 - Take the pan off the heat. Mix in the reserved water, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves fully.
04 - Put the pan back over heat and add the ramen into the sauce. Stir it with the chili oil, sesame seeds, and green onions for a minute.

01 - Mix light and dark soy sauce for a richer noodle color.
