Hamburger Casserole Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened.
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil.
03 - 1/2 cup sour cream.
04 - 1 cup cottage cheese.
05 - 8 oz wide egg noodles.
06 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained.
07 - 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped.
08 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
09 - 3/4 cup condensed tomato soup.
10 - 1/2 cup diced onion.
11 - 3 tbsp melted salted butter.
12 - 1 1/2 lbs ground beef.
13 - 1 cup shredded cheese.
14 - Chopped fresh herbs for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 350°F and lightly coat a 9x13 dish with cooking spray.
02 - Cook noodles in salted boiling water for about 5-6 minutes, just shy of being fully tender.
03 - Stir together cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, and melted butter in a bowl.
04 - Cook the ground beef in a skillet along with the diced onion and green pepper. Drain off any fat.
05 - Mix the diced tomatoes, tomato soup, and Worcestershire sauce into the beef mixture.
06 - Spread out half the noodles in the prepared dish. Add layers of the cheese mixture, then the meat sauce. Repeat the layers and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
07 - Bake in the oven, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

# Notes:

01 - Salt your noodle water generously.
02 - Don’t boil the noodles too long.
03 - Bring all your ingredients to room temperature before starting.
