Mini Heart Pizzas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough Basics

01 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
02 - 1 teaspoon of salt
03 - 3/4 cup of warm water
04 - 2 cups of plain flour
05 - 2 1/4 teaspoons of instant yeast
06 - 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar

→ Savory Sauce

07 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
08 - Salt and pepper, adjust to taste
09 - 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
10 - 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
11 - 1 cup of canned crushed tomatoes

→ Favorite Toppings

12 - Sliced pepperoni
13 - Grated mozzarella cheese
14 - Optional extras: mushrooms, olives, diced bell peppers, or pineapple chunks

# Instructions:

01 - Mix sugar, warm water, and yeast in a small bowl. Leave it for around 5 minutes until it gets bubbly and active.
02 - Stir together salt and flour in a large mixing bowl. Add in the yeast mixture and olive oil, kneading for 5-7 minutes till smooth dough forms. Cover it and let it rest for an hour in a cozy spot.
03 - Combine crushed tomatoes, oregano, sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in your saucepan. Heat it gently for 10 minutes so the flavors come together.
04 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll your dough flat, then use heart-shaped cutters to create mini pizza bases. Put them on your baking tray.
05 - Spoon the pizza sauce onto each heart, toss on a handful of mozzarella, and finish with pepperoni slices or other topping combos you like.
06 - Slide the pizzas into the hot oven for 8-10 minutes. They're done when the cheese melts and the edges turn golden.
