Cook the ground sausage in a big skillet on medium heat, breaking it apart as it browns. When it’s done, drain the grease and set it aside.

Grab a big bowl and mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning together. Keep stirring until it’s nice and smooth.

Stir in the sausage, shredded mozzarella, cheddar cheese, and the optional diced tomatoes. Mix everything really well.

Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish, spread the mix evenly inside, and sprinkle on some extra cheese if you'd like.

Slide the dish into the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes. The cheese on top should be melted and bubbling.

Take it out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle on the green onions, and enjoy it while it’s still warm with chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
