Soft Cinnamon Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of powdered sugar.
02 - 1 cup of sugar (granulated).
03 - 3 cups of plain flour.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
05 - 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder.
06 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence.
07 - 2 large eggs.
08 - 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened.
09 - 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter (filling).
10 - 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar.
11 - 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder.
12 - 2 tablespoons of milk.
13 - 1 tablespoon of melted butter (for glaze).
14 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (for the glaze).

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together the baking powder, salt, and flour.
02 - Cream the butter with sugar until light, mix in vanilla and eggs, then fold in the dry ingredients.
03 - On parchment dusted with flour, press the dough into a 13-inch square.
04 - Mix together cinnamon, melted butter, and brown sugar.
05 - Add the filling to the dough, then roll it up tightly like a log.
06 - Wrap tightly and chill in the fridge for 2 hours or more.
07 - Cut into slices roughly 1/2-inch wide and bake on 350°F for about 10 to 12 minutes.
08 - Mix all icing components and drizzle on top once cookies are cool.

01 - Turn the dough occasionally while chilling to keep its round shape.
02 - You can store the dough in the freezer for up to three months.
03 - Ensure the cookies are room temperature before adding glaze.
