Cake Mix Strawberry Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dessert Base

01 - 1 teaspoon extract, strawberry flavor
02 - ⅓ cup melted salted butter (or substitute oil)
03 - 2 eggs, large
04 - 1 package strawberry cake mix

→ Topping

05 - 1½ tablespoons milk
06 - 2 tablespoons preserves, strawberry
07 - ¾ cup sugar in powdered form

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Cover an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment and lightly spray it.
02 - Stir together cake mix, eggs, butter (or oil), and flavoring until smooth. The mix will be very thick.
03 - Evenly spread the mixture into the pan you prepped. Bake between 18 and 25 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
04 - Take the dessert out of the oven. Set it on a wire rack and wait until it cools completely.
05 - Blend the powdered sugar, strawberry preserves, and milk in a bowl until smooth.
06 - Once cooled down, drizzle the glaze across the dessert and spread it out. Slice into 9 to 12 squares.

01 - Oil can replace butter if preferred

03 - Cut into either 12 smaller portions or 9 bigger ones
