Heat oven to 350°F. Cover an 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment and lightly spray it.

Stir together cake mix, eggs, butter (or oil), and flavoring until smooth. The mix will be very thick.

Evenly spread the mixture into the pan you prepped. Bake between 18 and 25 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.

Take the dessert out of the oven. Set it on a wire rack and wait until it cools completely.

Blend the powdered sugar, strawberry preserves, and milk in a bowl until smooth.

Once cooled down, drizzle the glaze across the dessert and spread it out. Slice into 9 to 12 squares.
