Sweet Potato Jamaican (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 5 tablespoons of olive oil
02 - 4 garlic cloves, crushed or minced
03 - 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch discs
04 - 1/4 cup light brown sugar

→ Seasonings

05 - 1 teaspoon of mild paprika
06 - 2 tablespoons of jerk spice blend
07 - Salt and black pepper, to your taste
08 - 2 teaspoons of chili powder for a little heat

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper so nothing sticks.
02 - Slice your sweet potatoes into rounds about 1/2-inch thick after peeling.
03 - Mix olive oil, light brown sugar, jerk spice, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a big bowl. Toss the sweet potato discs in, making sure they’re all coated.
04 - Lay the spiced sweet potato slices on the lined tray and pop them in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until soft and cooked through.

# Notes:

01 - Store any extras in a sealed container in the fridge. They’ll keep for 2-3 days.
