Ground Beef Broccoli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
02 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
03 - 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
04 - 1 (1-inch) piece fresh ginger, finely chopped
05 - ΒΌ cup soy sauce
06 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
07 - 2 tablespoons honey

β†’ Main ingredients

08 - 1 small onion, chopped small
09 - 1 tablespoon avocado oil
10 - 1 head broccoli, broken into small florets
11 - 1 pound ground beef
12 - 2 tablespoons water

β†’ For serving

13 - Steamed rice

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a big bowl and stir together the soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, vinegar, sesame oil, and minced ginger and garlic until smooth.
02 - Put broccoli and water into a big, non-stick pan on medium heat. Cover it with a lid and let it steam for 5 minutes. Scoop the broccoli out with a slotted spoon and put it on a plate. Give the pan a quick wipe.
03 - Using the same pan, heat up the avocado oil on medium-high. Toss in the beef and onion, cooking for roughly 7 minutes until most of the beef turns brown.
04 - Pour the sauce into the pan with the beef and cook, stirring often, until it thickens and sticks to the meat. Toss the broccoli back into the pan and mix everything up well.
05 - Serve warm on top of rice if you like.

01 - Keep leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
02 - Warm up leftovers in a pan on low or quickly in the microwave.
03 - This version swaps steak for ground beef, making it more affordable.
