Grab a big bowl and stir together the soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, vinegar, sesame oil, and minced ginger and garlic until smooth.

Put broccoli and water into a big, non-stick pan on medium heat. Cover it with a lid and let it steam for 5 minutes. Scoop the broccoli out with a slotted spoon and put it on a plate. Give the pan a quick wipe.

Using the same pan, heat up the avocado oil on medium-high. Toss in the beef and onion, cooking for roughly 7 minutes until most of the beef turns brown.

Pour the sauce into the pan with the beef and cook, stirring often, until it thickens and sticks to the meat. Toss the broccoli back into the pan and mix everything up well.

Serve warm on top of rice if you like.
