Fresh Energy Shots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Ginseng Apple Energy Drink

01 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
02 - 1/3 cup fresh blackberry puree or juice
03 - 1/3 cup fresh blueberries, juiced or blended
04 - 1/4 cup ginseng drink (or mix 1/2 teaspoon ginseng extract with 1/4 cup water)
05 - 2 green apples – blend them or make juice
06 - 1/3 cup raspberry juice or blended raspberries
07 - 1 cup water

→ Orange Ginger Strawberry Boost

08 - 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
09 - 1.5 cups water
10 - 1/4 cup honey (optional if you want it sweeter)
11 - 2 oranges, juiced or pureed
12 - 2.5 ounces fresh ginger root, juiced or pureed
13 - 1/2 cup chopped strawberries, then blended or juiced

# Instructions:

01 - Use 1/2 cup water to puree apples until they're like soft applesauce. Scoop into a bowl.
02 - Combine the berry purees, ginseng (or its mix), and cinnamon in your blender. Add the softened applesauce to the blender, and mix until silky.
03 - Push the mixture through a mesh strainer into a bowl. Stir it well to let all the liquid seep through. Mix in 1 cup of water.
04 - Pour the final mixture into small 2-ounce containers. This should make 10 to 12 servings.
05 - Toss oranges, ginger, strawberries, cayenne, and 1 cup of water into your blender. If your blender’s small, combine fruits with just half the water at first. Then throw in ginger, cayenne, and the other half.
06 - Use a sieve to strain the mixture and remove the pulp. Stir in the leftover 1/2 cup water. Add honey now if you’d like, and give it a good mix.
07 - Divide the spicy mix into small 2-ounce containers. You’ll end up with 10 to 15 servings.

# Notes:

01 - These two different energy drinks give you a boost: Ginseng Apple Berry to focus, and Strawberry Orange Ginger to support immunity and your energy.
02 - The ginger-based version is spicy thanks to the cayenne and ginger, so feel free to add honey for a milder taste.
