# Ingredients:

→ Sauce

01 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
02 - 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
03 - 2 tablespoons honey
04 - 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
06 - 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
07 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce

→ Main Components

08 - 1 tablespoon diagonally chopped green onions
09 - 2 pieces of cod (each weighing 5-6 oz)

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and sesame seeds in a tiny bowl.
02 - Dry the cod filets with a paper towel, then lay them in a glass container. Spread 1 tablespoon of sauce over the fish, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Save the leftover sauce!
03 - Move your oven rack closer to the top. Turn the broiler on low. Put parchment on a baking sheet, and lay the fish on it.
04 - Cook under the low broiler for 12–14 minutes. Brush more sauce on every 2–3 minutes. To brown the top, switch the broiler to high for the last 4–5 minutes. The inside should hit 135-140°F.
05 - Move the fish to plates and sprinkle green onion over the top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap cod with halibut, haddock, rockfish, lingcod, or black cod.
02 - Honey can be replaced with maple syrup or brown sugar.
03 - Double up the sauce if you want to add more on the side!
